Ryan was a public defender in Baltimore City before entering private practice. This provided Ryan with the foundation necessary to understand the criminal justice system and how it affects individuals charged with crimes. Over his twenty-three (23) year career, he has represented over two- thousand (2,000) criminal clients, successfully litigating countless motions to suppress evidence, and won over a hundred bench and jury trials.  He believes in having personal relationships with his clients and their families. Understanding each client’s unique situation, personally and legally, is essential for the attorney client relationship.  He prides himself in being upfront with clients and explaining all aspects of their cases. Including all potential pretrial motions to suppress evidence and case strategies. Ryan’s greatest talent lies in his ability to view a case from the eyes of the police, prosecutors, judges, Jurors, and his clients.
